General Overview

FICARI is committed to providing not only great products, but great delivery service as well. In our shipping and delivery guide, we have provided a detailed breakdown to ensure our product is well received in your space. All items ship from Canada to your indicated region. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel comfortable contacting inquiries@ficari.com or send us a message on our customer submission form. We will respond to you within one business day.

 

Measuring Your Space

Before placing an order, it is crucial you measure the space you envision placing your FICARI product in. Another important measurement to consider is entry way for the product into your space of choice. 

Factors to consider when measuring, include but are not limited to:

  • Door width must be greater than one side dimension of you product. 
  • Consider whether there are obstructions behind the door that reduce the opening range.
  • Turning corners, i.e. a stairway or hallway, must also maintain a width greater than the box’s height.
  • If an elevator is required, the internal measurement must be considered.
  • If you reside in a condominium complex, be sure to check with your concierge for your product arrival. You may be required to schedule a drop-off or if you ordered a larger product, you may be required to schedule a dock, or elevator. It is always best to check with your concierge first.

    Scheduling a Delivery

    As production is completed and your product is prepared for delivery, we will contact you to coordinate a shipping date and time window. Once your are notified, we ask you take receipt of your items within 30 days of completion. Provided we are held to warehouse your item for longer than 15-days, a daily fee of for warehousing will apply.

    At the time of scheduling, please notify FICARI of any delivery requirements necessary to ensure a successful delivery. Some examples of important information we must be informed of include restricted delivery time frames, gated entry access, proof of insurance, docking and/or elevator reservations, etc. 

     

    Delivery Day

    For standard delivery, your order will be delivered to the front door of your residence, or apartment. If we are not permitted to entering a multi-unit apartment or condominium building we will deliver to the closest point possible.

    Under the circumstance you may return or exchange an item, please keep your packaging.

     

    Shipping Estimates

    FICARI has the ability to cover as much area to service in Canada and the USA. However, there are some areas that are subject to additional fees to guarantee  our product offering across North America. Our team has been involved in global shipping for over 30 years. Therefore, our established shipping partners limitations are little to none.

    For Canada orders to Nunavut, and Northwest Territories as well as any other locations outside of our shipping service area will be subject to additional shipping fees.

    For all US orders you may place your order online. A representative from our team will contact you to discuss cross-border delivery. We will provide you with a calculated rate based on your location.

    After placing an order for a US address, and speaking with one of our representative, you will be sent a shipping quote for review. You will have 2 business days to accept the shipping fees. Once the order has been accepted we will charge your selected method of payment and proceed with producing your order. 

     

    Certificate of Insurance

    Some residences will require a Certificate of Insurance upon delivery. Our delivery partners can help set one up once your order has been placed. Please contact us and provide a template from your building management (as many buildings will require a certain format). If there is no template required, simply provide the name, address, and dollar amount you require on the Certificate of Insurance. 

     

    Customs, Tax, and Tax Exemption

    FICARI customers do not pay customs, and duties on their purchased products.

    We collect sales tax where we are required to by law, and as such the amount will vary depending on the zip code or postal code provided. If you change your shipping address after your order is placed, the difference in tax rate will need to be charged/refunded. All applicable taxes will be displayed at checkout. 

    If you are considered to have a tax-exempt status, please place your order as usual. After receiving your order confirmation email, please forward it to the email address on our contact us page here. Include a photocopy/photo of your relevant certificates, forms and/or ID cards. Our payments department will analyze your documents and, if approved, will submit a refund for the taxes paid. 

     

    Buyer's Remorse Clause

    You will be charged when you place an order. Keep in mind, there is a 24-hour window for order cancellations.

     

    Order Confirmation

    You will receive a confirmation email after placing your order. If you have not received it, check your spam. If you still do not see it, contact inquiries@ficari.com.

     

    International Shipping

    Not located in Canada or the US? Contact us directly and a representative will assist you with your order. The order will be processed internally, and an order confirmation will be sent to you. Shipping rates will vary depending on your location and region.
